I just came back from Jamaica (pictures to come soon) and one of the books that I had an opportunity to read (listen to on my ipod) was “Lucky or Smart” by Bo Peabody.  Bo was one of the first young entrepreneurs to make any real money online way before people were using google to search for salmon recipes.

His theory is an interesting one that I happen to believe in.  Most people that make it anywhere have to attribute some of their success to being lucky.  Those that are smart enough to seize the opportunity of luck when it presents itself are those that will succeed.  Are you smart enough to realize when you’re lucky?

A friend recently asked me what books do I read to stay on top of my game. After I ran through the usual Who Moved My Cheese, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Barnes and Noble routine I told him that my daily reads online are also equally as valuable.

To keep your skills sharp in any craft requires listening and learning from other people that do it day in and day out. I don’t consider this a money making blog but more of a day to day diary. Here is a list of my top daily reads that keep me business focused. They are not listed based on rank… it’s just a list people.

2.  Affiliate Tip Blog – Market Outrageously with Shawn Collins

3.  Who is Andrew Wee – Don’t Get Lazy. Listen to Andrew!

4.  John Chow – Gives You Five Steps to Blogging. Number Two is get your own domain name.

5.  Paula Mooney – Has a domain name but she’s still going back and forth on hosting issues.

6.  Tyler Cruz – Can’t stop buying and selling domain names. I want to be him when I grow up.

7.  QuickSprout – Mr. Patel is the Man!

8.  Blue Hat Seo – Builds Me Up

9.  Matt Cutts – Knocks Me Back Down
